Smoothies for Fitness Junkies


Shamrock Protein Shake

~1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

~1/4 cup vanilla or plain protein powder

~1/8 teaspoon mint extract

~2 packets of sweetner

~1 to 2 tablespoons of pistachio instant pudding mix

~2-3 drops of green food coloring!




Blueberry maple Oatmeal Smoothie

~1/2 cup rolled oats

~1 cup yogurt

~1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

~2 tablespoons maple syrup

~1 cup of milk or fruit juice


Banana Bread Green Monster

~ 1 ripe banana frozen

~1 cup milk

~2 handfuls of spinach leaves

~1/4 cup walnuts

~1/4 cup oats

~sprinkle of cinnamon
